Welcome to CleanSweep SG, operated by Yopa.ai. By downloading, accessing, or using our app or website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using CleanSweep SG, you confirm you meet this requirement and accept these Terms.

2. Description of Service

CleanSweep SG is a community platform that lets users:

• Report litter by pinning its location on a map and uploading a photo.
• Mark reported spots as cleaned, with a confirming photo.
• View community cleanup activity and a leaderboard in real time.
• Comment on reports and flag inappropriate content.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at any time.

3. User accounts

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Notify us at support@cleansweepsg.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
• You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, nickname and reports, and cannot be undone.

4. User conduct and content rules

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit fake, misleading, or fraudulent reports.
• Upload offensive, obscene, violent, or illegal content in photos or descriptions.
• Infringe on the privacy or intellectual property rights of others.
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
• Attempt to disrupt or exploit the Service.

5. Content moderation and reporting

Users can flag a report's photo, or the reporting user, as inappropriate. We review flagged content and may remove reports and photos, and may suspend or permanently delete accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.

6. Intellectual property

• Our content: the CleanSweep SG name, logos, design, code and text are owned by Yopa.ai and protected by copyright and trademark law.
• Your content: by uploading photos or other content, you grant CleanSweep SG a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display and distribute that content for operating the Service and promoting community cleanup efforts. You keep ownership of your photos, and you confirm you have the right to upload them.

7. Sponsors

The Service displays logos of third-party sponsors who support CleanSweep SG. Sponsor placements are a form of recognition and advertising only; they do not involve CleanSweep SG endorsing a sponsor's products, nor does CleanSweep SG currently offer rewards, vouchers, or prizes to users. We are not responsible for sponsors' own products, services, or websites.

8. Advertising

The Service may display advertisements served through Google AdMob. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising data is handled.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service. We do not guarantee that map data or reported locations are accurate — exercise caution and common sense before visiting any reported location.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, CleanSweep SG and Yopa.ai are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:

• Your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
• Any injury, accident, or property damage occurring during volunteer clean-up activities.
• Loss of data or account access.
• Actions taken by other users or third parties, including sponsors.

Participation in physical clean-up activities is entirely voluntary, and you assume all risks associated with it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Singapore law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold CleanSweep SG and Yopa.ai harmless from claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

12. Termination

We may suspend or delete your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via Settings, or by contacting us.

13. No employment or agency relationship

Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between you and CleanSweep SG or Yopa.ai.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively by the courts of Singapore. Google Play's own terms of service also apply to your use of the app where downloaded via Google Play.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will note material changes with an updated "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate, notify you via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
